Shortcuts keyboard adalah gabungan dari dua atau lebih kekunci, ketika ditekan, dapat digunakan untuk melakukan tugas yang biasanya akan memerlukan mouse atau peranti lain.
Shortcuts keyboard dapat membuat lebih mudah untuk berinteraksi dengan komputer.
Shortcuts Keyboard Untuk Windows Explorer:
- Ctrl+N = Open a new window
- Ctrl+W = Close the current window
- Ctrl+Shift+N = Create a new folder
- End = Display the bottom of the active window
- Home = Display the top of the active window
- F11 = Maximize or minimize the active window
- Ctrl+Period (.) = Rotate a picture clockwise
- Ctrl+Comma (,) = Rotate a picture counter-clockwise
- Num Lock+Asterisk (*) on numeric keypad = Display all subfolders under the selected folder

Windows XP Kekal Kuasai Dunia, Walaupun Dikejar Rapat Windows 7
Berdasarkan statistik sistem operasi untuk bulan Februari 2012, NetApplications mendapati bahawa perkongsian pasaran XP menurun kepada 45 peratus daripada 47 peratus pada bulan Januari. Pada masa yang sama, Windows 7 meraih peningkatan 38 peratus daripada jumlah semua pengguna, iaitu peningkatan sebanyak 2 peratus daripada bulan sebelumnya.
Kajian terkini menunjukkan satu pola di mana XP semakin beransur hilang, manakala Windows 7 telah menunjukkan peningkatan untuk setiap tahun. Pada bulan Februari 2011, XP memiliki lebih daripada separuh pasaran iaitu pada 57 peratus, manakala Windows 7 hanya mempunyai 24 peratus kuasa pasaran. Dan walaupun XP naik sedikit pada bulan Januari, ia kini semakin menurun tanpa mengalami sebarang peningkatan.
Windows 7 telah memenangi mata peratusan tambahan sepanjang tahun lepas dan menunjukkan peningkatan yang tetap setiap bulan sejak lebih daripada dua tahun lalu. The five quick-lists can be downloaded by hitting the button below.
To ‘install‘ you simply need to drag and drop the one(s) you want from the ‘Quicklists’ folder in the .zip archive on to the Unity Launcher.
To ‘uninstall‘ either unpin the quick-list or delete the folder containing the quick-lists
Because these quick-lists are tailored to Ubuntu’s default applications you may wish to edit them to suit your own tastes.
For example, the media quicklist launches Totem by default but if you have VLC as your default media player chances are you’ll want that to open instead. In this case you would open the ‘Media Apps.desktop’ file in Gedit/Text editor and change the name and ‘exec’ command to that of VLC.
Orta Theme Ported to GTK 3; Here’s How to Install It
Orta was one of the most popular GTK2 themes created for GNOME-based desktop.
But when Ubuntu upgraded to Gnome 3 (and respectively GTK 3) in 11.10 users were no longer able to use GTK 2 themes like Orta.
Luckily for us, talented theme developers have started creating new gorgeous looking GTK 3 themes as well as porting some of the older GTK 2 themes over to GTK 3.
And one such GTK2 theme which has just been ported is – if you hadn’t already guessed - Orta.
However this is just the first version and, as such, there is some way to go before it’s as pixel-perfect as the GTK2 version of Orta.
For example there is a major inconsistency between the menus in GTK 2 and QT apps (which are dark) and those in GTK 3 apps (which match the theme):

Installation
The theme can be download from the artists’ DeviantArt page by clicking on the green button below:
However to make your lives easier we’ve packaged it in the OMG! Ubuntu! PPA! for easy installation under Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04.
Open a new Terminal window and enter the following two commands separately:
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kokoto-java/omgubuntu-stuff && sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install orta-gtk-theme
To ‘apply’ the theme you will need to use a tool like GNOME-Tweak or GNOME-Tweak Tool.
